Over the past few years learning and development has evolved and adapted with the advent of new technologies that assist individuals in learning. Blended Learning Solutions have advanced from classroom-based courses with a VCR, to online learning through webinars, interactive instructor-led experiences and on-demand information systems.

Mobile Learning (mLearning) requires a shift in thinking. It requires an organization to approach their learning needs using a 'just-in-time, just-in-place' mentality. The trends that are prompting this paradigm shift include:



  • Learners have less and less time for training and new innovative techniques are required to meet these situational pressures.
