MindMuze at the 2011 BC HRMA Show
Last month the Mind Muze team exhibited at the BC HRMA Conference and Tradeshow in beautiful British Columbia.
We enjoyed two days of engaging conversations with local and national HR professionals from a variety of industries. Many were looking for different online routes to training their employees, and many were looking at online options for the first time. Regardless of where they currently were with their training initiatives, the message was clear - HR professionals and business owners were looking for a simple to create, easy-to-update and cost effective route to delivering their training online.
I think that was why “Green Your Office”, an eLearning course built in partnership with the David Suzuki Foundation, was so well received as we demoed it at the show. The clean-feeling and easy-to-navigate course was a fresh and welcome surprise to many attendees. They were equally impressed when they learned it was built in less than 30 development hours in SHIFT and was fully editable.
The show ended with many happy attendees walking away with plans to build free prototype courses with us in SHIFT. It also ended on a happy note for the Mind Muze team as we walked away with the award for First Place in Booth Design! Perhaps the judges had a sweet tooth for our candy? Check out a quick video snippet of our booth and candy table here.
All around it was a fantastic show and we’re looking forward to working on several SHIFT prototypes and of course, heading back to the BC HRMA show again next year!
